Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for Square Salon (Square Colour Salon + Spa), 1225 S. Fort Apache Road, #160 & #135, Las Vegas, NV 89117. We keep it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us — contact details are at the bottom.
What we collect
When you book an appointment or shop with us, we collect and store:
- Your name
- Your contact information — phone number and email address
- Your booking history — appointments you've made with us: dates, services, and the stylist you saw
- Audit logs — our booking system automatically records when appointment records are created or changed and by which staff member. This is a standard record-keeping feature of the salon software we use.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website. If we sell products online, payment is handled by the payment processor's own secure checkout (e.g., Shopify), and your card details go to them — we never see or store full card numbers.
Where it lives
Appointments and client records are stored in Phorest, the professional salon management system we use to run the business. Online retail orders (when available) are stored in Shopify. Both are established platforms with their own security practices and privacy policies. This website itself does not run its own customer database.
Why we collect it
- To book, confirm, reschedule, and remind you about your appointments
- To know your service history so your stylist can do consistent work (color formulas depend on it)
- To fulfill product orders
- To keep accurate business records (the audit logs exist so we can trust our own books and investigate mistakes)
That's it. We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't use your data for anything unrelated to running the salon.
How long we keep it
- Booking history and client records: kept while you're an active client. Records with no activity for 3 years [owner to confirm] are automatically flagged for review by a scheduled check. A person then looks at each flagged record and deletes it using our standard anonymization process — nothing is ever deleted automatically by a machine on its own.
- Audit logs: kept for [DEFAULT: 1 year — owner to confirm].
- Records we're legally required to keep longer (e.g., sales/tax records) are kept for the legally required period.
Never sold, never shared
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers named above (Phorest, Shopify) who store it on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes, or where the law requires us to.
How to request deletion
Email squaresalonspa@gmail.com or call (702) 255-7050 and ask us to delete your information. Please include the name and phone/email you booked under so we can find your record. We will delete your client record and booking history within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (we'll tell you if that applies).
You can also ask us at any time to see what we have stored about you, or to correct it.
